I need theme help

Okay, so I downloaded a theme and tried to install only to really royally mess up. How do I do it. I know there are instructions on here someplace but I tried to search and came up with nada.

Thanks in advance.

BTW: John, portable apps are AWESOME. I use them almost exclusively between work and home. You got a great thing here.

Which version

of the menu do you have?
Theming differs a bit from version to version...

How do I tell what version

How do I tell what version of menu I have?

Edit: Nevermind I found it. Its version 1.0.0.0. Is there a newer version that makes it easier?

Open the menu and look for

Open the menu and look for an Info or Help button in the right side menu list. That should display the version. For example, my menu displays that it is the Mod R30 version and is not supported by this website.

Edit: You responded while I was typing! There are a number of variants floating around in the Beta fora. Some have features not included in others. I will leave you to other folk to answer your original question.

1.1 Beta 4

NeoRame, you missed he said he is using 1.1 Beta 4 which doesn't support the advanced theme options. The theme he downloaded may not work, and he would have to copy just the three main images to the PortableAppsMenu\App\DefaultData\Theme folder.

You need one of the MOD's

To use that theme you will need one of the modified version of the menu.
Mine SmithTech Portable Menu
Or XRXCA's MOD R30

Here I am

This Theme only works proper with PAM Mods R25 to R31.
Copy all folders included in the zip-file to
PortableApps/PortableAppsMenu/Data/Theme/
like this
PortableApps/PortableAppsMenu/Data/Theme/TNT-Basic
PortableApps/PortableAppsMenu/Data/Theme/TNT-Blue
PortableApps/PortableAppsMenu/Data/Theme/TNT-Choco
...
You're right, I should attach a Read-me to all themes Sad
Sorry, I will fix it.
