Has anyone experinced this problem yet. This same problem happened in 1.0.7 but seemed to be fixed in 1.5. However since i upgraded to 1.5.0.1 the problem occured agian. If this is a known problem can someone tell me how to fix this?
Otherwise any other suggestions?
You could check either the Bugzilla stuff or the Mozillazine forums to see if it known. I havent had any problems however so it could well be your system.

Thanks Steve, i forgot about the forums. Found out apparently performance optimisers can have this affect on firefox, and sure enough when i disabled fasterfox, things seemed to go back to normal! YAY.
I'll let you konw if fasterfox was not the problem if it happens again.
Cheers.
That's odd. I've been using Fasterfox for months (without prefetching, of course--I'm not THAT heartless) and haven't had a problem.
FasterFox enables pipelining. It's off by default in Firefox... and for good reason. Some servers mess up files over pipelining and you'll end up with the wrong or missing images when you view a webpage. For example, Google's social networking site Orkut used to do this.

You're on Orkut?

I ended up on most of em trying stuff out. Originally, I signed up for a couple cuz I was thinking of building my own.

Amazing.
I used to use Orkut, but I stopped because of all the error pages whenever I try to click a link.

I have pipelining turned on. I've still never had a problem. Guess I'm just lucky.
Ditto...

You have made yourself a powerful enemy nm35...
In unrelated news, I only set my Fasterfox to Custom and make sure that it doesn't increase load on the server, while using a couple of my own tricks
