We know

Winter,

Welcome to PortableApps and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are aware of the situation. AVG is reporting a spate of False Positives in recent releases of PortableApps software. I assume it is a common file in all of them but no one has named it yet.

Could you try an update of AVG and see if it is still happening. Someone reported that a recent update might have fixed it in one app.

If this does not help, and you trust us Blum , could you report this to AVG as a false positive.

Be assured that the official releases from PortableApps are virus free.

Tim

The situation is known. There is no need to post it for each app in question, Thanks.}

Things have got to get better, they can't get worse, or can they?

Please go to the menu bar

Please go to the menu bar above, choose "Support", and read the part about "False Positives". Use the online testers to see if anyone but AVG is reporting this. If not, it is probably a problem with the way they are doing it, and they'll fix it with their next signature release.

This is affecting lots of programs with an NSIS installer.

You're the only one who can decide if it might be a false positive on your machine.
