the old version of GAP doesn't work with gimp 2.4.x. A new version that compatible with 2.4.x has been released. is there any idea about using it with GimpPortable?

The old version of GAP didnt work for the Portable GIMP either. I would expect it to be the same with the current version of the portable GIMP.
I can only find the old version of GAP.

but it is only source package not a binary package yet

Oh yeah, I saw that. But we'll be doing the official binaries once they're available. I'm automatically notified when they're posted to SourceForge.
