When trying to delete Clamwin folder I get an error stating:
Cannot delete ExpShell: Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.
The file is not in use, the disk is not full. Any suggestions on how to delete would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Is the menu running? If so, close it and then try deleting ClamWin again.

You told ClamWin to integrate with Explorer in the options. Rebooting will free this.

I did not see that option in the portable version. How would he have done that?
The shell extension is removed from the portable distro. But some people copy a regular ClamWin install into it.

Thanks everyone! I got it now! I used windows explorer to do it and it worked. Thanks for your quick replies!!
I have the same problem - expshell.dll - and I am afraid I didnt understand the answers. My menu wasnt running and I couldnt see how to use Internet Explorer. I want to uninstall because I think it is upsetting ZoneAlarm. Help!
He is talking about the normal file explorer. The original posters problem was that he told ClamWin to integrate into the right-click options menu. Did you do that?
Try rebooting and try deleting it again.
And maybe Zone is locking the file cause it doesnt like it...?

Im afraid I dont know whether I put Clamwin into the right-click menu. I did reboot and the problem remained. I uninstalled Clamwin by formatting the stick and then deleting the various references I found, using Windows Search and Google Desktop, in the computer. That still didnt clear the ZoneAlarm problem, however. ZoneLabs said it would be a known characteristic of their TrueVector System and they suggested a reset procedure which cleared it. I am very grateful for your help. I dont really see the use of Clamwin in the Suite and I have reinstalled Portable Apps without it. Thank you all very much.
