Two plugin directories?

I've noticed that there are two different plugin directories in my PFF 1.5.0.3.

All the plugins I had installed in previous versions are found here:

G:\PortableFirefox\Data\plugins

Whereas when I installed Flash using the extension posted on the PFF page, the files went here:

G:\PortableFirefox\App\firefox\plugins

Is this okay? Do I need to harmonize these directories, move anything around...or just relax and enjoy?

P.S. I've got two searchplugins directories too, at G:\PortableFirefox\App\firefox\searchplugins and G:\PortableFirefox\Data\profile\searchplugins. Same answer there?

It's ok

The 2nd one in Data is so you can keep your plugins in a single place (if you want) and not accidentally delete them when upgrading to a newer copy of PFF. PFF will use them both.

Searchplugins is different?

Hi John

For the "searchplugins" folder though, I found that it has to be under the "App" folder. In my Portable Firefox installation, however, a "searchplugins" folder was never created under my "Data" folder, just under the "App" folder.

Searchplugins =/= plugins

searchplugins are totally different from plugins and have to be within the firefox directory or (i think) within the profile directory.

No problem

No problem John...I was just doing a quick experiment with moving the searchplugins directory to check if what KevinTMC mentioned in his "P.S." would apply.

Thanks.
