Recently, some images in some websites quit appearing in Firefox Portable; in Wunderground only the ads appear, in Wikipedia nothing does, most sites are fine. Images were OK until about a week ago, and are fine in regular Firefox and IE. I installed some add-ons about the time this happened, but not simultaneous with this (I don't think); I uninstalled them, the problem persists. I ran the test at http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=288184 (I can see only the first image), nothing. Windows XP, Firefox Portable 2.0.0.13. Thanks!
Did you switch it to be text only?

Thanks for responding. If I did set it to text-only, I don't know how I did it, nor can I see how to undo it. I have a add-on called Image-Show-Hide, but that's set to show images; I tried it both ways for Wunderground, but having it set to text-only just made the few images that still showed disappear. The most puzzling thing is that it happens only on these two websites (maybe others as well, but I haven't come across them), and with Wunderground not all images disappear (the ads are still there, great!), but with Wikipedia (any page), no images of any sort.
No problem, this is just a wild idea that's probably not right, but is worth it I guess.
Yeah, its very hard to find, so I figured you didn't do it unless you wanted to, but, sure, let's try.
View->Page Style->Basic Page style should be checked.

It is checked ..... why do the simple answers never work? BTW, just found that it happens on Travelocity as well (but not on Expedia).
Sorry I'm late. Try installing the new firefox portable and see if it goes away.
