welcome to the forums
honesty i've never even heard of or seen a Cruzer Profile before and i'm sure it's the same for most users here. why couldn't you get help from SanDisk? they're probably the only ones that can help you. i'm sure you can't reset it or get to your data short of taking it apart and doing something (would probably void any warranty) because the point of the fingerprint scanner is to keep other people from getting your data. i would think you would be able to send it in to sandisk if you could verify what data is on it. mby call them again and hope for a more helpful person.
Normally these fingerprint drives offer to scan more than one finger. And then also a password. That scandisk is not willing to help you to get around the protection is logical, else the protection would be worthless.
Logan is correct
Enter the password you created:
"You can also set up a backup password and a question/answer clue in case of a hardware problem or the unfortunate loss of your finger."
If you cannot remember it, or it is not your drive, I think you are screwed.
This may be why Sandisk can't help you.
Think about it, if we could tell you how to get past the security it wouldn't be very secure would it?
So, try to remember your password, try different cases, upper and lower, did you perhaps use a symbol for a letter.
What was your most likely question/answer clue?
Perhaps one you used at your email site or bank?
Good luck,
Tim

Things have got to get better, they can't get worse, or can they?
thanks alot for you support....
ok can you tell me where can i enter my password??
which App?
thanks
Is it a U3 drive? If so, there should be a place to enter the password in the U3 menu. I have a U3 drive, but I erased the U3 software off with Sandisks U3 launchpad removal tool, because I didn't want it. But I played with it awhile, before erasing it and there is a password protect option on the menu itself, try that.
"enter my password"
Okay, so you do know the password,
How did you enter it the first place when you created it?
Do you have your manual?
When you asked the Sandisk folks how to enter the password what did they tell you?
