How do u change where your program saves its settings? I am running the updates for Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder. Im trying to get the files to be saved in an ini file or an xml. if you have any questions, let me know

more info please. cant exactly solve your problem until we have at least a good handfull of the details like, the program, the issue inf full detail, what OS are you running ect...

Ok, Even though my program uses the registry to find the product keys, It saves its settings in the registry. Take a look at the beta testing for keyfinder portable.

In the forums for the program, people were asking for the settings to be saved into a ini or a xml file. Im not sure how else to explain it. Since Delphi wont run on vista, im using my virtual os which is XP professional.
Since keyfinder became open source, i have been running the updates for it on my website. i will soon be moving it over to the sourceforge area.
