Easy Update to FF 1.5.0.4

I just updated PFF to 1.5.0.4. Simple download, restart and check for compatability of extensions. (most extensions that are comp with 1.5.0.3 are tagged 1.5.*)

If you version does not notify you right away then you can go to Help and Check for Updates.

It works just fine.

Please don't ask John to release a PFF 1.5.0.4 today. I'm sure that is very annoying.

I suspect someone's going to ask him anyway, regardless. Every time a new version of Firefox is released, however minor the update, someone invariably has to ask when a "proper" portable version is going to be released.

You would think...

...people would want to use the simplest method to get the latest version. Simply updating their current version seems to be the best way, unless John has made updates to the launcher, etc.

I imagine...

I imagine a lot of that is obsessive-compulsives like me. They always want to have a "clean" installation of Firefox, afraid that automatic updates will leave traces of the old version. You're talking to the person who reformats and reinstalls his operating system on average of once every three months--even if it isn't required--so I would know.

I have to wonder if it's is a joke account. I only say this because no legitimate member in his right mind would use the username "spammer."
