Description: AssaultCube, formerly ActionCube, is a free first-person-shooter based on the game Cube. It is set in a realistic looking environment, as far as that's possible with this engine, while gameplay stays fast and arcade. This game is all about team oriented multiplayer fun.

Release Notes:

Pre-Release 1 (2008-06-22): Initial release

  • BUG: There is one bug within the program: It doesn't save the settings. So you start at the same spot every time. Unfortunately it's a bug in the installed version too so I can't do anything about it.

I've been playing this for a

I've been playing this for a few days and it leaves nothing behind. It works great and I haven't had it crash at all. Hopefully this will become an official release soon.

Is there anyone willing to tale over this App as I will drop supporting it?

I never really played it and dont like it enough to keep it. atm, there isnt much to do anyhow as they are rather slow with updates.

I'd say "a couple days" but no one knows for sure.

you may already know this but it looks like Assault Cube 1.0 was released earlier this month. the only bad thing is that it doubled in size; that's okay though since 40MB is still tiny these days.

Looked fairly similar, but in the loading screen, part of the blood spatter just to the left of the cube was covered by the letter T, so i just made a random shape to cover the T and filled it with the same red color

update it first. It will be another prerelease as several things changed from 0.93 to 1.0.

but don't have the time right now to move it to version 1 cause I'd have to rewrite parts of the launcher.

Can someone pick this up?

I'm sorry to bump this thread, but can someone pick up this app? This is my second most used app (Next to Firefox) and is the only portable app my friends use. People sometimes ask me how to get the program. I'd love someone to update the launcher to 1.0. Seriously, the online doesn't work in the older one. Please update.
