Yes

If you installed the additional languages you can change the language to french.

Multilingual

You didn't search at PortableApps.com, did you?
There is GnuCash Portable 2.2.5 Multilingual. Multilingual means "multilingue". There are nearly one hundred locale dirs in GnuCash. Why do you think French would not be included?

I like my response better. (I really do. Not just because I wrote it)

Re: Wow

Sorry if it sounded harsh, such wasn't my intention.

To make a suggestion: To help avoid such questions the app pages of multilingual portable applications could be extended with the information which languages in detail are supported by the application in question.

I second that suggestion. I hope John includes it when he gives the page translation system an overhaul!

Sure, Here's How To

By default, GnuCash will show up in the language the computer is set to as long as you've installed the "Additional Languages" when you were installing it originally. If you'd like to have GnuCash use a specific language (so it would be French even on a English copy of Windows), just follow these directions:
https://portableapps.com/support/gnucash_portable#language

In your case, you'd set it to "fr" (without the quotes). That should take care of it for you. Oh, and welcome to PortableApps.com.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
