Okay Tom Revell the original author of stickies has hosted my launcher for stickies. He included the app and said if you wanted to release it on this sight you could link to his sight for a direct download. The launcher lies here.

Hey Jacob the link is broken.
Tom should be releasing an updated beta within the next week, if you want to check it out.
I think it's mainly some skinning enhancements for me. I wanted to do some things that Stickies couldn't quite do.
Also I'm working on some portableapps.com skins for Stickies. Let me know if you want to check out the progress before I actually release them.
The link seems to be broken because there's a new one

What are the advantages/disadvantages of Stickies compared to PNotes (see https://portableapps.com/node/13253)?
I would like to see you skins. I'm about to release an updated launcher and would appreciate your skins. I can also make suggestions if you need em.

I'm still working on the skins. You'll need the newest beta of Stickies to use some of them. Tom had to make some code changes to make the skins I wanted to do work.
Here's a screenshot of the portableapps.com skin I'm working on.

Jacob, I noticed a problem with the launcher. The stickies.ini that it copies to the Data folder is the default stickies.ini , it doesn't have any changes made to it. Stickies still reads the one from it's own directory, but if anyone is backing up only the Data folder then they aren't getting their Stickies data.
You may have found that problem while updating to the newest paf specs, but I thought I'd let you know just in case.
Are you planning on making an installer? I'm pretty sure that's legal if Tom agrees to hosting it. Also I noticed a SkinnerPortable.ini in your folder setup I downloaded from zhornsoft, do you have a Skinner launcher as well?
I know that's one of the problems I'm working on. There seems to be a couple glitches in the launcher that's why it's taking so long to come out.

Is the launcher copying from the userprofile location on the host? If so it would probably be better to put a stickies.ini in the folder with Stickies.exe by default. That's the way Stickies is made portable w/o the launcher. Then have the launcher copy that to the Data folder on close. This may be the way you are doing it , I don't know.
Is there a way I can contact you other than the forums?
The .ini is stored in the data folder then moved to stickies folder on opening. I think I will just leave it in the stickies folder from now on rather than move it back and forth. If it doesn't find the .ini it's looking for in the data folder than it moves it from the default data folder.

Since Stickies reads the file from the Stickies folder, why not just copy it to the Data folder on close? There's no need to move it back and forth, the Data folder is just for Backup purposes in this case.
Sorry forgot to mention skinner. Yes I do have a launcher for skinner as well but Tom wasn't interested in hosting it since it was already "portable". It's not really do to that reg entry but oh well. I'm waiting on dragonmage's skin then I will release the new launcher.

I tried to install this, but it is missing files in the \Data folder. Whenever I attempt to launch it, I get an error saying it can't find stickies.exe
becaus its just the Launcher. You have to download the programm separately and put it into the /App/Stickies folder.

I feel stupid now. I thought that this download also included the program. Thanks for the help.
