Hi
I wonder why the Applications Installer isn't multilanguage?
Some Apps have different languages in the Installer but the most not!
And the strings in NSIS are already translated
Why is the NSIS Installer of portable Apps NOT multilingual?
I want to vote for this feature!

Because we haven't gotten to it yet. And it's complicated. You have to set the app itself to use the language the user chooses as they install... and every app is different (some registry, some INI, some XML, some config files). And include the right languages for each app.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
"...and every app is different..."
Thats right! But I mean ONLY the existing Installer!
Activate only some other languages in the default PortableApps-Installer and use the global settings.
I think the most Installers here have the same structure.
The Installer of Toucan 1.2.2 has a language-switcher.
It would be nice if such an option become standard in other InstallerApps!
What's your opinion in making PortableApps more multilingual?

The Toucan installer was relatively working for then and has the ability to do both the installer *AND* set the app as the right language on first run. Ideally, I want to have the installers do that... though it may be moot once language switching debuts in the platform (it'll tell the installer and the app what language to use). This is the plan. It's just not done yet. It didn't make sense to shoehorn the multilingual features in before the actual configuration of the installer was done. It's nearly done (see the 0.10.1 release), so we're getting closer.

I have some updates here for the polish Installer:
