I can't believe it. I forgot to install Xenon onto my drive :(.
And right now I wonder why I didn't install ABP onto the local Firefox :P.
Oh speaking of AutoIt, could there be some support for macros? (Of course not the macros like in M$ Word that gave viruses access to documents, because it's possible to strip out certain dangerous feature and force the user to go over it, right? :P)

I've just tried out Pre-Release 7 in Vista Ultimate SP1, and overall I haven't had any major problems.
The only thing I've noticed is that if I click the "computer root" button, it automatically tries to read the floppy drive and gives the following "Windows - no disk" error: "Exception Processing Message 0zc00000123 Parameters 0x763f2a0 0x00000004 0x7f63f92a0 0x763f92a0" with the option to cancel, try again, and continue. Once I click continues it brings up the root with no further error.

Do you have Javascript enabled? Are you somewhere where some sites are blocked? Are you using a download manager?
I checked it again and it worked perfectly.

javascript enabled, portableapps.com, sourceforge.net, code.google.com & mediafire without vigilance & i try to download it from firefox, without downloads plugins avtivated & can't. when i click the link the page keeps for a minute loading & then the error page... but I managed to download version 1.4.9.7 beta, & goes up perfectly except for only the bugs listed in this page. downloaded my version from here & the PAUpdater don't updates anything
after half an hour of searching, I apparently found an ad free file host. *Drops in sweat*.

Just downloaded this today and been playing around with it.
the File Associations editor seems to work ok.....
would it be possible to save the way I like my list of files displayed? namely by date. I can change the list when Xenon starts, but I want it to remember that I like by date modified when Details is chosen.

Hey John, let's release this tomorrow. Comment out the code for linking in the PortableApps.com Platforms file associations for now and I'll add the fixed PA icon (folders flipped) set into the final release.

I have no problem either. It takes the slightest time longer than Windows Explorer to load the files in a directory, but when it does load, all the icons are loaded as well unlike Explorer.
