Need a portable application for Foreign Vocabulary training.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

yes

Use the search box in the top right corner, search for vocabulary and you'll find something Smile

will this work?

I was looking for the same thing and found this:

http://www.antikoerperchen.de/vokabeltrainer/englisch/

as far as I can all settings are saved in its directory, and it doesn't require any installation, so I guess it's portable. Fairly simple but it seems to work well enough.

Also, by default it's in German, but you can change it to English.

EDIT: just checked back on the site, guess it's open-source too.
