Here's an attempt to fix the placement of thunderbird_localbackup.reg when using the ini.

It was a simple fix, but it wouldn't compile (had an error on a line I didn't touch).

I already have a fixed version in test. There were a couple bugs of the original. I've added in a check for guest mode so that the registry errors won't occur either (since it isn't needed as TB can't update the registry either). There was also a bug with the restore code due to an odd 'feature' in NSIS Gotos that has been fixed. This update will be released on Wednesday.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Will you post a link to just the updated binary, or do I have to download the entire PTB distribution? I have internet at home now, but it's dialup, and my bike has a flat tire so I can't get to the library much anymore.
