DraftSight is a free 2D CAD fully compatible with Autocad.
The interface is extremely similar to Autocad so you can do all 2D operations on dwg cad files in a familiar ambient. Actually even some 3d operations like the modelling of surfaces are supported.

Hello everyone,

there is a new release of Zotero as a standalone app. Can this be packaged as a portableapp? Particularly, can the Linux and Windows executables be co-located in the same directory structure to allow cross OS use?

I'd somehow downloaded and made GVNotifier run portably by following the instructions on GVNotifier: Dave Amenta.com. However, lately it won't successfully log me in so I've been looking for alternatives.

Has anyone with PA.com built similar PA software; i.e. direct text messaging via a Google Voice IM client??

If so ... can someone point me in the right direction because I can no longer figure out how to make GVNotifier run portably, nor will it log me in successfully.
