I think he meant John's copyright date in the readme and source, they both say 2004-2007

I meant the launcher source code Smile

Check the footer of here too Blum

The copyright is actually implied anyway, so there's no real reason to update it.

Hi all

Just installed Virtual Magnifying Glass Portable 3.3.1, and have an issue with it - dynamic mode doesn't function at all. I'm running off a USB Thumbdrive using PortableApps.com Menu v1.1 Beta 4 (I'm on the beta version as I have a high DPI display, and the menu system is screwy with any older version).

If I select "Use Plugin (Usually Dynamic Mode)" in VMG's system tray right-click menu, then left-clicking on the system tray icon stops doing anything, and if I right-click and go to "Show Magnifying Glass" I get an error message popup - "Displaying the overlay on screen failed".

If I unselect "Use Plugin (Usually Dynamic Mode)", everything starts working again.

I also notice that if I right-click and go to "Configurations Dialog", then click on the plugins tab, the list is completely empty, which makes me wonder if perhaps the plugin isn't being properly loaded somehow.

I'm running with DirectX 10 on a fully patched install of Windows Vista, on a Core Duo notebook with 2GB RAM and an ATI Radeon Mobility X1600. The DirectX Diagnostic Tool reports no problems found on any tab, and my drivers are all listed as WHQL Logo'd. My display driver version is listed by DXDiag as being 7.14.0010.0555.

Anybody else have this problem, or is it just me?

As always, support questions go in the forums, not as comments on a news story. Otherwise, no one will ever be able to find your question and answer later on. Please create a new topic about this in other apps support and I'll delete this comment.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Hi guys!
I just finished translating the new VMG (PL+DE)
and the new 3.3.2 version should be out right now!
The dynamic mode should work now. (Hopefully!)
Please update VMG portable to the new version soon!
Thanks.
