Thanks for your work on this, Shawn. I updated the included shared libraries for replacing text in files, INI reading, etc to the current releases we use in all apps.

I guess this might be a really nice, helpful, and beautiful tool. But I'm not gonna find out.
After more than 20 minutes the installation process was not even half way through, and although I consider myself a patient person, that's not possible.
And yes: I closed all other apps, and yes, I disconnected my USB drive and reconnected and tried to install a second time - same thing.

Sad.

- Edit: WinXP SP3, PortableApps 1.1, USB WD Passport 160 GB

P.S.: I just read that v. 2.2.7 has an improved installer. How long did it take with the old one, then?

That's your drive being slow (or the USB port). The app is large (142 MB or 100MB if you select English only) and has about 4,000 files. So, it physically takes a while to copy that all to a slower device. Much, much longer than a single 142MB file would take. Your device may be specifically having power issues as well since the WB Passport 160 has reported issues with USB ports not supplying enough power to it.
