Features

VirtualDub Portable ScreenshotVirtualDub Portable is a video capture/processing utility. It lacks the editing power of a general-purpose editor such as Adobe Premiere, but is streamlined for fast linear operations over video. It has batch-processing capabilities for processing large numbers of files and can be extended with third-party video filters. VirtualDub is mainly geared toward processing AVI files, although it can read (not write) MPEG-1 and also handle sets of BMP images.Learn more about VirtualDub...

What a comparison.

Having use both, I can tell you that the Virtual Dub editor is like sony soundforge products, unless you understand what your doing and how to manipulate files with it, your not going to appreciate exactly how powerful VDub is and how it craps all over main stream proprietary software.

Why pay several hundred dollars for something that is only doing the same job as a completely free application?

I laughed that hard I burst my colostomy bag...
