I want to thank the Maxthon folks for supporting portability and Raymond in particular for all his work on this one.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

A big thank you to all the team at PortableApps.com for all his help and especially for the patience to decipher my imperfect English.

It's great to see my list of installed applications shrink as they're made available here - thank you!

I don't seem to be able to successfully login from the smiley face icon in the upper left using my Maxthon passport credentials - np from my other machine or installed version of Maxthon 3. Any ideas?

Thanks again...

Hello

If you have purchased an account with Maxthon 2.5 or 3.0, Maxthon laptop connects without problem.

By the time cons connections are slower because of the USB key.

You are sure of your username and password?

By cons, if you need more help I suggest you log onto the forum English: http://forum.maxthon.com.

First of all, thanks for a great app.
I have noticed an odd setting in Maxthon Options - Page Settings - Quick Save Images: Default Save Location is "C:\Users\Raymond MAGDELAINE\Pictures". I guess it would be best if it was "X:\PortableApps\Documents\Pictures" in a future version...

Thank you for the information, I just corrected the problem for this version and future.

Thank you very much for the return

The default now appears to be O:\Documents\Pictures dispite the fact that it's running off of drive Y:.
Also should't the default simply be [WhateverYourDriveLetterIs]:\Documents (I download '.paf.exe's more often than I download Pictures), and the "Quick Save Images" option be turned off? (like how FirefoxPortable is set to "Always Ask" where to download files.)

I can not do better for the drive letter, the file that handles this information during the installation of Maxthon is encrypted for reasons of protection of privacy.

So you have to manually change the location of image storage.
An important clarification, Maxthon 3.0 is under development, all functions are not yet included in the browser, they will be progressively with the development.

All matters concerning the operation of Maxthon, apart from problems related to portability, I suggest you visit the forums to Maxthon 3.0 (if English is your language) http://forum.maxthon.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=122

Sincerely, ray1
