OpenTTD Portable 1.1.0 Rev 2 has been released. OpenTTD is an urban planning and simulation game in which the player aims to earn money through shipping of cargo by land, water, and air. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Suite. And it's open source and completely free. Read on for more details...
PortableApps.com Platform 2.0 Beta 5 users, just click 'Check for Updates' in the menu to update.
Revision 2: Includes the x86 version (instead of x64) so it will work on all PCs. Our apologies for the earlier issue.
Features
OpenTTD is an urban simulation game modeled after the original Transport Tycoon game by Chris Sawyer and enhances the game experience dramatically. You are in control of a transport company and must compete against rival companies to make a profit by transporting passengers and goods by road, rail, sea and air.
PortableApps.com Installer / PortableApps.com Format
OpenTTD Portable is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Suite including the Menu and Backup Utility.

Doesn't run
Looks like it may have been packaged incorrectly. The actual program executable is not a valid Windows program (at least when I tried to execute it directly). The launcher runs, then exits without giving a reason why, and the program never loads. Too bad. Looks like a good game.
Wrong EXE
It looks like scriptdaemon bundled the x64 instead of the x86 release. I'll post a fix shortly.
EDIT: Fix packaged and uploading now...
Hah..
And there was me going to post that it was working fine...I'm on 64bit...
Good thing I check for newer posts before I hit save...
I Did The Same
I tried it and it worked fine, but the poster's error of it not being a valid EXE reminded me that that's what x64 apps do on x86, so I fired up Windows XP 32-bit and there it was.
Wrong version
It should be 1.1.0.
Revision 2
Revision 2 included the proper x86 version so it works on all PCs now.
Oops.
I forgot they also do 64 bit, so I didn't think to check.
Automatic
They detect your OS and present you the 'appropriate' download. Just create a 'howto' note for when you build it next time and make sure that's something you check. Every app has its own little quirks.
