when attemtpting to update stinger to the most recent version i get an error stating that it is not a valid application. I have verified that the issue is affecting all of my portable apps flash drives (3 total).
One one of the said flash drives i have attempted to remove the application and re-install with no sucess. after the removal of the application the re-install process fails with the same error. I belive that the version 12 is a broken release

An individual app can't cause this. Drive corruption can, though. Scan and backup ASAP.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

i also believe the new release is broken, guess have to wait for an update.

I figured out that McAfee seems to be blocking downloads if you don't first view the license page, so the app download will fail but will look like it succeeds on some systems due to specific network configurations. I'm working on a fix.
