Notepad++ Portable 7.4.2 has been released. It's the handy Notepad++ text editor packaged as a portable app so you can do your development on the go. It has all the same great features of Notepad++ including support for multiple languages and an extensive plugin system, but there's nothing to install. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free.

Balabolka is a Text-To-Speech (TTS) program that uses the Microsoft Speech API (SAPI) voices installed on the system to read text aloud or save it to an audio file. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. Balabolka Portable is freeware for business and personal use.

Firefox logoUpdated multiple profile support for Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition, Mozilla Thunderbird, Portable Edition, Mozilla Sunbird, Portable Edition and SeaMonkey, Portable Edition has been released in Second Profile 2.0 apps. This release has improved launchers and installers and updated icons. Secondary profiles allow you to have another complete set of settings (bookmarks, emails, calendars, preferences, etc) for each portable app. It's great for sharing your flash drive with someone else, developing and testing extensions, or separating work/school stuff and personal stuff. The secondary launchers work with all languages and are available from the portable apps' support pages today. The easiest way to install them all (and keep them up to date) is to use the PortableApps.com Platform's built-in app store to install them. Just enable 'Advanced Apps' within options to make them available. And, as always, they are open source and completely free.
