I have two profiles in regular thunderbird and they both have the names
XPC.mfl
XUL.mfl
They are in separate folders. When I copy the contents of one .default folder into the profile folder in Thunderbird Portable and then open THunderbird portable program, there is no profile there.
How do I resolve this? Thank you,
you must mean the instructions didn't work. 
For me with just one profile that has 5 accounts on it, I just copied the whole profile directory, not any specific files in that directory.
I know you said you have two different profiles you want, but if both of them are in the one profile directory, it should be the same way.
