Firefox / VLC question

I briefly searched and didn't see what I was looking for.

I have PortableApps and VLC Portable separate on my flash drive. Is there a way to integrate them so different videos will play when viewing websites?

thanks

well I don't think file association with vlc will make it play videos/audio from within web browser I could be wrong though (that is what I think he was asking Smile )

There are also discussions about associating with other portable applications.

there is

a plugin in vlc webpage to use it with firefox... I just don't know if it's works with the portable version... need to test...

If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report Biggrin

Windows Media Player is the

Windows Media Player is the only media player they have installed at my work. I was wondering how I might watch something like a movie trailer in QuickTime format? I wasn't sure if you installed things like with flash on FireFox Portable. Is there a way to just use VLC to watch the vids?
