Hi Im new in the portable apps. Irecently tried to configure the thunderbird and it ask me the sever. My email is with gmail so i put pop.gmail.com but when i tried to download my emails y didnt download. Please help.

Did you try the troubleshooting tool linked on that page?
Are you seeing any message? Anything on the status bar after you click Get New?

Don't you need to subscribe to their "POP" service to use a mail client since they make their $$$ on advertising that you don't see by using software to access your mail?
You just need to enable it in your settings on your gmail account - they offer free IMAP as well, with the labels mapped to folders, which is kinda interesting, but that one only works if you set your language / locale to EN-US (at least, I had to last time I used it)
