Release Notes:
Development Test 1 (2008-05-01):
- updated to latest open source version
Note: Audiobook Cutter is now being developed as freeware, and this looks like the last open source version, but it's stable and does the job so I'm stickin' with it.
I've tested it out and it seems to work good so far.
Keep up the good work
404 error for me...it seems your whole site is down.

But it seems good now.
Yep, it's fine now. That was really odd, EVERYTHING on your site seemed to be dead earlier today. I hadn't tried anything since I made that post, so I couldn't tell u how long it was out.

Works fine, you may wanna fix the readme.txt in the App dir though, right now it says "The files in this directory are necessary for PDFTK Builder to function and do not normally need to be accessed directly."
Should be Audiobook Cutter, not PDFTK Builder

Audiobook Cutter, not PDFTK Builder
Oh really? necessary for the application to funtion.. to me more generic.
I feel honored that you use my readme!
Well...actually I´m just kidding

This a nice little program and it really fits a creative niche. Thanks for putting it out there! Only problem I have with it is that files need to be output to a folder with nothing in it but that's not your fault. Keep up the good work!
Been looking for something like this - Will test it out.
What about mp3splt as an alternative/companion app Patrick? It does all this and also supports Freedb for music albums?

OK tried it and it does what it says on the tin, not any good for mp3 albums... Just one last plug for mp3splt as it has a nice feature where it takes the split cues from FreeDB and then can search around that point for the track silence. It should be be able to do everything else AudioBook Cutter can do - Keep up the great work.
I think it's time find an alternative. The latest release of the free edition, 1.0, has become nagware, full of popups asking you to please support their efforts and purchase AudioBookCutter Pro

Audiobook Cutter Portable has been updated to the latest open source version.
I've just tried 0.7.5 development test 1, and it seems to work well with vista ultimate sp1.
I can't get the checksums to match. Is anyone else having this problem? Or does the one listed need to be updated. I don't really want to test this if I have an uncorrupted version. It defeats the purpose.
Other than that, great idea for a portable app.
I need this to split up my Armstrong and Getty episodes so they won't be too big for my Muziq.
Thank you very much!
Yes, that was an incorrect MD5. The correct one is d6955221d955eb61e5f71ca5aa1f34a0.
Sorry about that.
I'm source code illiterate, but I would like to change the current code to get rid of the auto-update feature that pops up on execution. I would just ask if you could change this, but I would like to know how to do it myself.
Thank you very much Patrick!
