MAC OSX version of portable apps?

I love this project, I think its fantastic!
I have use of PC's and MAC's so I am interested to know if there is any possibilty of a MAC portable apps in the future? Camino instead of Firefox etc?

We don't have them here (yet), lifehacker.com has an entry on portable mac apps.
