7-zip portable page

on the 7-zip link on the Applications page, it prompts you to download a file, so the link need to be fixed, e.g put a slash on the end of the link. not sure if it affects other pages as well.

What link do you mean?

The one on the 7zip page(https://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/7-zip_portable) should be a download. And the 7zip link on the Application page links to the 7zip page as far as I can tell.

I think they mean

I believe that they are right clicking on the download link instead of left clicking on the sourceforge app download link. (In the status bar it it has filename.paf?download.)

actually, what i mean, is

actually, what i mean, is when you click on the link to the page, not the download link, it prompts me to download it, as in the html file that the info is on.

If an HTML link does

If an HTML link does different things based on whether you have a slash on the end of the link or not is a function of the web server, not the browser. Having a slash on the end is more correct, but the rewrite engine of the webserver *should* handle them correctly.

I tested all of the links,

I couldn't find any issues; not to say that you aren't having issues. But everything works fine for me. The first link goes to 7zip.org, the second is what is a portable app, the next is the download link (the one I referred to),etc. The link for the applications page checks out too. Which one (counting from the top of the page) are you having trouble with?

PS. interesting info (BuddhaChu) about the end slash, I did not know that; Thanks!
