VoIP App
any good open source suggestions?
but, what about this one? http://www.framakey.org/Portables/PortableWengo
The page is in French, I'm just showing the already portable French version (Framakey), probably you can google the real app.
and there is a portable Teamspeak

It doesn't work...
Instead, help me convince Patrick Patience to release a new (and fixed) version of his TeamSpeak Portable Launcher...
Open Source suggestions:

I looked into portabalizing SIP Communicator or OpenWengo last year, but it was too difficult for me at the time. Rumor had it John was working on making OpenWengo portable. Check with him on that.
Spread the Webi. I love the site. Their list is so much more inclusive than Wikipedia. Some is freeware, but I found so many unknown apps there, like Nixory.
nice site. PDFEdit looks nice
I started to work on OpenWengo too but had to stop. PartickPatience said it was too difficult. It seems like no one could get this to work.
There's a nice portable VOIP (SIP) application: PhonerLite
does anyone know if Mumble is any good? it seems to be the open source alternative to teamspeak. http://mumble.sourceforge.net/Main_Page
but it is voip and it does run of a usb stick and all I had to do was put the skype exe in the right place and move/make a profile....nothing complicated there!

i know its probly a stupid thought and its not true VoIP and its closed source but what about roger wilco?
Besides the fact that Roger Wilco is extremely old software, it isn't Open Source.
Ventrillo is modern, but closed source so that leaves you with TeamSpeak for a gaming-type chat setup. Since TeamSpeak isn't a real voip app, I'm eliminating it from being a contender.
Keep looking for an Open Source voip app someone can make portable folks...
