I recently made the move to not install software that have a portable version to help keep my computer registry much cleaner and smoother. [So far so good] When I had pidgin installed on my PC installing and using a theme was easy as typing this post, now with the portable version have no idea as to how to use any themes. The portable version comes with the pre-installed themes at "~PidginPortable\App\GTK\share\themes" and while it looks like the GTK2.0 Them installer is installed at "~PidginPortable\App\GTK\share\gtkthemeselector" it really isn't. All there is in that folder is the GTK logo icon.
Now if I have to download and install it, where would I get it? Can anybody help me out with this.
Thanks.
about changing the Pidgin Theme here. I hope it helps - the worst case is that its for an old version and doesn't work anymore :).
Maybe there are other posts about that here, just use the search box.

Thanks for linking me to that thread. Now I can rock some cool themes.
For the record the GTK Theme Selector is located at
X:PortableApps\PidginPortable\App\GTK\bin
