I think it would be a good idea if we create a Mercurial repository for this in the PortableApps.com SourceForge account, along with the Toucan one and the coming AppCompactor, Installer, Platform and Launcher ones. I'll ask John once we've got our first set of repositories open.

I don't always use the same computer for developing (with the latest installer, I HAVE to use my laptop as I can't compile the installer on my desktop anymore). I don't want to have to install the same thing twice, and then try to maintain settings. What can I say, I'm lazy
Too many lonely hearts in the real world
Too many bridges you can burn
Too many tables you can't turn
Don't wanna live my life in the real world
I did Bazaar Explorer recently because Inkscape uses Bazaar version control now; the only reason I haven't released it is I've got Qt issues to clear up.
The problem is that the only really solid Windows GUI for Mercurial is TortoiseHg. gwsmhg seems to be about the next best thing. I'll also look a bit more into other options. Use Sublime Text, Eclipse, gVim, quite a few text editors and IDEs support it (with or without a plugin)
The other option is just a straightforward command line version of it and a Command Prompt Portable approach.

I haven't looked at the source yet, but how hard would it be to update it to link a window class (ExploreWClass, Progman) to a specific control class (SysListView32)? This way we could direct it to work only on a specific control in a specific window, instead of catching clicks when clicking on other parts of the window.
For example only have it catch clicks on the desktop's SysListView32 (main desktop), or in an explorer window's SysListView32 (main file list). Whatcha think?
It can be very time consuming to add a lot of possible file extensions to this CAFE eXpresso. It would help a lot if experienced users would publish their ini files, so even noobs like me could copy and paste a great working configuration in seconds.

The problem is, some of us may have a portable app installed that you don't, and it might not work for you.
Just double click any old file you want a special program to open, and select the app to assosiate it with.

Could a mod please add the [outdated] tag to this thread. Also if possible a link to the current thread - https://portableapps.com/node/21809.
Thanks:)
