This has been released. Thanks for testing!
https://portableapps.com/news/2008-05-29_-_pdftk_builder_portable_3.5.1
Today lwc brought to my attention that PDFTK Builder was updated several times without me noticing it. It is now version 3.5.1 with several improvements.
John, you said here that you have an ico file of the new Icon. It would be good if you could send it to me along with a new Splash so I can package the new version and do a Pre-Release.
And it would be cool John if you could do the redirect from https://portableapps.com/PDFTKBuilderPortable to the App´s page.
And while you´re at it you could redirect these too. Or maybe the new mods can do that...?
EDIT
Prerelase 1 of the new PDFTK builder has been released. It features a new icon and various improvements like the ability to drag-and-drop pdf files into the collate list, and several Bugfixes such as rotating pages didn't behave as expected and the sort order was ignored when more that 26 files were being collated into one file.

If there arent any problems with it, John can put in the new splash and release it.
When he sends you the new icon, use like Resource Hacker to hack it in to the original program and replace the ugly green thing if you can.
Thats what you did last time didn't you?
Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

Well, I added a later XP Theme Manifest as well. You can use ResHack to save the resource under 24 in the old file, and then add it as a new resource in the new release, and also go to the menu (tools maybe?), and select replace icon, and try to replace the green PDF with the new one. Any trouble I can do it.
Edit: Here, I had a chance and was able to do it for you.
I will try it myself and if I fail use yours

Just post when the release is ready.
I'm getting to the URLs later.

No offence, but you've been saying that for a while now. Those URLs are in the splash screen and the help file. Although it's easy to go directly to PortableApps.com and find the app page, from what I remember it should only take a few minutes+ to add those aliases.
What module does the URL aliases?
Insert original signature here with Greasemonkey Script.
It's one of the built in ones, might even be the core itself.

I forgot to activate it :P.
I'll just test the smileys module.

I've just tested out pre-release 1 on vista ultimate SP1, and it works without problem and leaves nothing obvious behind.
Works well here.

I didn't notice anything wrong, but why the changelog in the root directory? (PDFTKBuilder.txt)
I had it there for info reasons but its not needed at all.
So please everybody delete it

Do you think this is ready?
If yes please dont forget to delete the changlog file in the root folder of the package.
I'll be away over the weekend so just release it if its ok.
