I found many posts saying that the portable version of Free Download Manager is problematic.
But I have found that if we disable all the browser monitoring the it works flawlessly.

well i would think if we disabled them by default then people would still have the tendency to enable them. plus i haven't found a way to get it to monitor portable firefox
