I can't remember if I made a post about this in the past, I know I discussed it with someone before, maybe in #portableapps
Ok, I think it would be great if there was a Bookmarks popup menu on PAM, like the Favorites menu in the Windows Start Menu. It would of course read from the bookmarks.html of the installed FFP. I know the IE Favorites are actually individual url files, and that's how MS does it, but I'm sure someone can right some code to parse the bookmarks.html and display them in a popup.
I just think it would save some time if we could open FFP to the page we want, rather than waiting for it to load then selecting a bookmark.
You mean like a submenu with most accessed files including web addresses.
Maybe Ubuntu?

Not exactly, I mean an exact match to the Bookmarks menu of the installed Firefox Portable. Like Favorites menu in Windows Start Menu.
It would be a bit complicated and I don't think most people will use it. The whole concept of hierarchical bookmarks is basically being pushed aside with in FF3 in favor of the awesomebar and tagging. I mean you can still browse into it, but it's SO much easier to just type part of it.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Oh, I wasn't aware of that I haven't tried FF3 yet, don't know when I will.
