Hi,
I am on a dial-up connection and for large downloads, I have to depend on a download
manager. I use the highly touted DownThemall extension in both versions of my FF -
2 & 3. I've noticed a change in mirrors at SourceForge - ex: the Virgina mirror is gone, replaced by one in New York. This isn't the issue, but since this change, my
downloads won't pause whenever I'm ready to shut my system off. I have to cancel the
download and this is preventing me from downloading some of the larger things like
Open Office and PA menu light. I was curious if anyone else has this problem, if so,
is there a fix? Also: This occurs in both versions of FF and FF2 has been installed
with DTA, since FF2 was released. Is this a bug in Firefox, Downthemall or Source
forge? Thanks.

Downloads won't pause
DTA cant pause a download if it doesn't know how big the file is source forge should do this if not try a different mirror if not media fire does and if you want i can re host the files on my media fire account for you and we can try that
I tested downloading a big file (OOoP) from the SF server in New York. This server doesn't allow some things atm, among others it doesn't allow to pause a download.
The fix isn't difficult: Manually select a different mirror from the SF download page. I tested the one in San José and it worked fine for me.
BTW: If you have support questions it would be best always to specify the versions of the software in question.
