I'm using Thunderbird Portable while my main computer is being fixed. It's worked fine for weeks now -- both on XP and Vista. I'm currently running on a machine with XP Pro.
Today, I opened up the application, and my profile was GONE. The app wanted me to create a new email account. I have the profile folder and all seems fine, but it's just not reading it.
What can I do to fix this?
and not a local version? You do have a backup of the whole folder or at least the data folder I hope.
