Several Potential Problems with MojoPac?
After Installing MojoPac to an external hard drive connected to a Host PC which uses WinXP Pro and IE and has a Firewall and Virus Scan software installed, I noticed that in the MojoPac WinXP environment when I would do certain functions that it would show up in the Host PC's firewall that a particular program was active although it was activated in the MojoPac WinXP environment?
I also noticed that after installing MojoPac that the MojoPac username and such is filed under the Host PC's Documents and Settings?
And that after installing software in the MojoPac WinXP environment from Portable Apps that I didnt want that there doesnt seem to be anyway to uninstall it and its not listed under add/remove programs, nor did it show up under programs as it should have to begin with?
There doesnt seem to be a Portable Apps program that will clean the entire MojoPac WinXP environment and then wipe the recycle bin?
Thank you.
Anywhere you install portable apps, you can remove them just by deleting them.
As for your Mojopac question, Mojopac is a closed source commercial product that we don't support. Portable apps do not need anything like Mojopac to function and will work better without it.

Hmm, I thought that MojoPac was the necessary platform to keep everything seperate from the host computer and that the Portable Apps were tools to help MojoPac be more effective at doing that?
PortableApps.com stuff is self contained and works on any computer you'd like. Also, unlike Mojopac, it works on Windows 95/98/Me, 2000 and Vista and works in net cafes/libraries (guest logins) and offices/schools (limited logins).

Will they work on an external hard drive or flash drive by themselves without the MojoPac platform, although I dont see how they could work without some sort of o/s?
They work from internal or external drives. Any iPod, portable hard drive, flash drive, memory card, etc. They run on top of the existing OS already on the computer (Mojopac does the same thing).
