I associate PortableFirefox to .URL setting the registry entries as the post: "Problem with .URL ("Internet Shortcut") files"
This works, open the URL and charge my portable profile, but further windows shows a message box that say: "Window cant find the....", but the page has charged.
¿How i cant avoid this message?

Other app. that i found is DefaultBrowser "http://windowsxp.mvps.org" that make any your default browser -as his name say- , i try an it works....

AFAIK, Firefox can't handle .url files.

I remember back when I switched from IE, my favorites folder could be used and firefox would launch the website accordingly.
The import wizard must convert the stuff in Favorites to something Firefox can use. Or Fx can handle internet shortcuts and there's something bad on my end.

I have some URL files on my computer, and Firefox handle them just fine.
