Cube 2: Sauerbraten is a free multiplayer/singleplayer first person shooter, built as a major redesign of the Cube FPS.
Much like the original Cube, the aim of this game is not necessarily to produce the most features & eyecandy possible, but rather to allow map/geometry editing to be done dynamically in-game, to create fun gameplay and an elegant engine.
The engine supporting the game is entirely original in code & design, and its code is Open Source (ZLIB license, read the docs for more on how you can use the engine).
I'm pretty new to the forums and such here, posting at least, I've used Portable apps for a very long time. This game is something i'd love to see made portable, I myself don't have much any knowledge of how to do so. If someone could portabalize this or somehow walk me through the proces that'd be kinda amazing.
here's the website - http://sauerbraten.org/

That would be sweet and kick-ass if there is a way to make this game portable! I would love to use my Blackberry or flash drive to run that game eventually on a PC.
Um... Search before you post? Have you noticed the small Search box in the top right corner of the screen?

I suggest the first one. They are both development editions, so don't expect any official support with them. However, the current developer of the "Trooper Edition" is scriptdaemon, and you can expect support from him. Also, please provide him with the feedback of how well it works or doesn't work for you, and if it doesn't work be specific about what seems to be the problem. The more feedback it gets, the better the improvements are and faster it might get to be an officially released game.
Cheers
