It'll be done when it's done.

You need to ask the ClamWin team. It's updated when they get to it.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
left question at their page, oh jkdefrag portable has a virus acording to clamwin...
Usualy when i update i get a message telling me that my clamwin/clamAV is outdated. so far my clamwin is not outdated and i have not gotten a message stating as such.
ClamAV on my linux box is a different story.
Another thing is that the Linux ClamAV and the Windows ClamWin have different fixes. this fix from .94 to .95 on unix may be because of a bug that only effects unix systems. there was a similar issue like this but in the reverse a few months ago when ClamWin was updated but the linux version was not.
when you look in your update log you get:
ClamAV update process started at Tue Apr 07 10:56:37 2009
WARNING: Your ClamAV installation is OUTDATED!
WARNING: Local version: 0.94.1 Recommended version: 0.95
WARNING: Your ClamAV installation is OUTDATED!
WARNING: Current functionality level = 37, recommended = 41
also I know they have different fixes because they're different oses and all that stuff.
The latest version of ClamWin is 0.94.1 period, end of story.
The latest version of ClamWinPortable is 0.94.1

0.95 is an update to ClamAV and has not yet been ported over to ClamWin. We cannot update ClamWinPortable until ClamWin is updated
The warning occurs because the Clam Engine knows that there is new version of the Clam Engine out there, but nothing can be done until the ClamWin Team decides it's time.
We will know when CW is updated.

Things have got to get better, they can't get worse, or can they?
ClamAV if for Linux. They both have different fixes and are on a different version number track.

0.95.1 was released
I guess you thought we would not know
As mentioned above, we know these things.

If you can not wait or take the many hints given to you, then update it yourself. It does not take a rocket scientist to find where to put the updated files.
I've usually seen in the past with this site that when an new opensource software comes out, its usually posted up within a few days. and the clamwin team is taking there sweet freaking time puting out new updates.
this subject is know closed.
Clamwin has such a very poor and low rate of detection, that even if it reports your system "clean", doesn't mean it is.
I wouldn't rely on just using Clamwin.
No one in this thread, including the original poster, or at this site, has suggested just using Clamwin. As it is not designed to provide RT protection and it is also not a system cleaner. It is a file checker and should be used with your real time malware scanner as a secondary, backup scanner.
Also the topic was when the update would be out [it is] and not a comparison of CWP and other av products. Even well known name brand products at times report systems clean when they are not, it's why you should have a "second opinion" option, and CWP gives you that.
