Send Link

Send Link opens up launches my web based Google account instead of starting Thunderbird Portable. Is there a way to correct this?

Do you mean mailto links?

Do you mean mailto links?

Do this:

-Tools, Options
-'Applications' tab
-Search for: mailto
-click 'application'
-click use other
-click 'browse' in the new window that opens
-Locate your thunderbirdportable.exe
-click ok, then ok for options as well

This works for me, I can now click mailto links with TB opening...

Send Link

Scott,
Your lead help me with 1 of 2 issue. I never see MailTo. I have Send Link or Send. But your lead resolved the Send Link issue but because I use Google Toolbar I am not able to resolve the other issue which is okay because I use Google Toolbar a lot and will not part with it. Thanks again.

No Problem :)

You mean the 'send link' thing when you right click, don't you?
I have only just noticed that...

I think mailto is more of a protocol, so it is what happens whenever you will click on an email address, or when you click on 'send link'...
(so my bad on the 'mailto links'...)

I dropped google toolbar a while ago...just takes up browser space IMHO...
