Home Page URLs

I know consistency is an important consideration here, which is why I'm bring this up.

There is an issue with the way that some portableapps.com URLs resolve that probably came about from categorizing the applications.

For example, in the 7-ZipPortable help.html file, the URL for "Go to the 7-Zip Portable Homepage" is coded as "https://portableapps.com/7-ZipPortable" but quickly goes to "https://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/7-zip_portable".

This doesn't work correctly for other packages.

For example, in the CoolPlayer+Portable help.html file, the URL for "Go to the CoolPlayer+ Portable Homepage" is coded as "https://portableapps.com/CoolPlayerpPortable" and gives a Page Not Found (404 Error). The URL should resolve to "https://portableapps.com/apps/music_video/coolplayerp_portable"

I checked the packages I use and I've found the following help files affected by this 404 issue:

• AppCompactor (also has identity crisis issues with being called AppCompressor)
• CoolPlayer+Portable (already mentioned)
• DVDStylerPortable

I've found the following release packages that are coded straight to the categorized URLs (which is OK, I guess):

• LightscreenPortable
• PDFTKBuilderPortable

Other issues:

• InfraRecorderPortable
  • help file header says 0.46.1 instead of 0.50
  • help file header says InfraRecorder instead of InfraRecorderPortable
  • the "Go to the InfraRecorder Portable Homepage" goes to "https://portableapps.com/InfraRecorder" (not portable)
• Toucan - Doesn't link at all to the Toucan home page (might be fixed in upcoming release)
