quetion abr yahoo mail

I am supposed to prepare a stick for someone, I should put there essential things like mailclient (TBP). But the mail is with yahoo. Does yahoo support pop or imap or is it just webmail? I have not one myself.

Free?

Don't you have to pay for pop3 access? I thought GMail was the only one that offered it for free and even then I'm not so sure about that either.

PopPeeper email checker supports checking Yahoo mail accounts. Of course for simple mail notifications you might as well use Pidgin, assuming the target audiences already using instant messaging.

I would have thought most user are used to using the Yahoo Mail website, so Portable Firefox should be all you need. Smile

I thought you did have to pay but when I looked today it did not say you have to pay.

Well I Never!

Have you tested it? Does it work?

I guess all the big portal providers are fighting it out. It all started with GMail's virtually unlimited storage space, now they're all at it.
