i need to ask to anyone who knows portable software. Why some portable software cannot be run on the Wind 7 OS???

most such software will run on w7 as I have heard, but there are exceptions where people produced some portable software by the use of thinapp, then some things do not work. But this is not the case with regular apps from this site.

Why join a site in order to post misinformation in forum topics?
for them it may well not be misinformation, perhaps we should wait for the thread starter to explain rather than claiming they don't know what they are talking about. You have to remember that they probably only joined because they had a problem and that English may not be their first language, just let them explain first!
Consider moving this thread to the Other App Support forum, or deleting it altogether.
I'm running Portable Apps on Win 7 64-bit, and have not seen any problems.
If you would like help, please list the apps you are having problems with.

Windows 7 is really the same as Vista. Pretty much anything that works on Vista will definately work on Windows 7. Unless it affects the taskbar or something like that.
Have you tried to change the compatibility mode for the program?
