Since i upgraded to version 1.6 the menu is being resized according to my dpi-settings. is there any way to deactivate this feature?

Not currently. It's behaving as an application is supposed to when it's run on a system with 120dpi set. We'll probably add the ability to disable that for folks who still want it tiny.
