portable Miranda crashes after loading. Same problem as normal Miranda

portable Miranda crashes after loading. Same problem as normal Miranda

i installed portable Miranda yesterday and today it hangs up on load.
i had the same problem with normal miranda. you can take normal miranda
with you but it will crash because of the *.dat where the contacts and history are saved.
if you make a new *.dat it is ok but then you have to set up all settings again.

i hoped portable miranda would fix that but it won't

isn't there dbtool.exe ?

isn't there dbtool.exe ? have you tried to fixed it with it ?

I've had once similar

I've had once similar thing
I've had to create profile from scratch and use IMPORT function in Miranda
and from that time I ususaly do backup of my dat file before adding/changing some things
