What is the procedure for copying my local heavily used FF profile to my U3 Firefox? I'm concerned on the locations of files to replace and which files those would be.

What is a cache "directory?" All I see is a .cache file.

"Directory" is the proper name for what most Windows users call a "folder." If the cache directory isn't there, then don't worry about it--you're not supposed to copy it over, anyway.
